France offers International students a subsidy in Housing. The student would need to apply for it after registering with the University.

The amount of subsidy is determined by authorities based on rental amount an financial status of the student. The subsidy isn’t by default nor is it assured.

The student needs to submit the following to avail this facility :

• Address and the amount of the rent [Ideally rental agreement].
• Details of Student health Insurance Plan.
• Bank account details in France, as housing assistance is deposited directly into beneficiaries’ bank accounts.

A group of students living together can apply for assistance individually [Provided Names are there in rental contract].

Applications for assistance must be completed on the Web site of the family assistance fund (CAF, Caisse d’allocation familiale) within 3 months of taking possession of your lodgings
